Current Students

Our First Day® Complete program gives you access to all of your course materials, no need to shop around!

Register for Classes

Upon registering for courses, you will be automatically enrolled into the program. Once you've successfully selected your courses, the bookstore will start preparing your order.

Verify Your Order

Starting 30 days before the first day of classes, you will receive an email to . Please respond promptly to complete your order. 

Receive Your Textbooks

An email notification will be sent when your order is ready for pickup or when it ships. Your digital materials will be delivered for your course(s) within LearningHub.

Return/Purchase Textbooks

An email notification will be sent when your textbooks are due back with instructions for returning or purchasing them.

First Day® Complete Program

First Day® Complete is a course materials fulfillment program that lowers the cost of course materials and ensures all main campus students have their required course materials on the first day of class.

  • Register for your classes and the University Bookstore will start preparing your course materials
  • One month before classes start, you will receive an email instructing you to select your delivery preference (in-store pickup or shipped directly to you)
  • An email notification will be sent when your order is ready for pickup or when it ships
  • Your digital materials will be delivered for your course(s) within the First Day® Complete program

Currently, the program is available to all main campus students.

The program provides all required textbooks, lab manuals, access codes and digital textbook versions to eligible main campus students.

The program does not include consumables that cannot be returned and reused such as lab goggles, dissection kits, molecular model kits, engineering kits or nursing kits.

All eligible main campus students will be automatically enrolled in the First Day® Complete Program.

Yes you can, through , or you can also opt out through . (Login required) Opting out means you will not receive access to your required course materials in a convenient package, at a discounted rate, or access codes to your classes.

Ordering & Payment

Full-time main campus students will pay a flat fee of $344 per semester for textbook rentals as part of the First Day® Complete program. 

Anything below or above this amount will be adjusted on the student's bill after the drop-add date for fall semester at the rate of $21.50/credit hour below or above 16 credits.

Students are responsible for shipping costs if they opt to have their materials delivered.

Students will be responsible for purchasing their required course materials through the bookstore.

Students will receive emails and phone calls to remind them to verify their order. Students who do not verify their order and do not opt-out will still be charged for the First Day® Complete program.

Yes. If a student has verified their order and did not opt-out of the program, they will still be charged.

Yes, you will have 48 hours to return your textbooks. If you do not return the textbooks, you will still be charged the book rental fee.

Materials

Yes, the program provides you with the option to purchase textbooks at a reduced rate during the return period.

Yes, you will still be required to return continuation course textbooks. You will be issued the same title for the next semester of the continuation course.

You will be billed for the full price of any book you do not return.

The deadline to return all rental textbooks is the last day of finals. Students will receive email reminders about the rental deadline to their email address.

You may return the book to the bookstore on the same terms and timelines currently in place. If you drop a class and enroll in a different class, the bookstore will “swap” the required textbooks/codes so that you have what you need.
